Level 3 Paediatric First Aid (PFA) Suitability The Paediatric First Aid qualification is suitable for individuals aged 16 and above who work with, or care for, babies and children. These roles include teachers, nursery/pre-school staff, child-minders, nannies and au pairs. Description This course is divided into two units, allowing learners to cover both action for emergency situations, and the necessary treatment various other injuries or chronic conditions. The nationally accredited RQF level 3 qualification is recognised by Ofsted, Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and enables settings to comply with the 2017 EYFS Statutory Framework amendments (‘Millie’s Law’). Assessment is ongoing by the instructor, along with a multiple choice question paper after each day, and a three-year qualification will be issued to those who satisfy the criteria.
